Saturday I began the two day maintenance course with Jack Mears I learned more about the operation of an aircraft then I could have imagined. I learned how to change spark plugs, change oil, how to safety wire and how to analyze problems. It was the best 16 hours I have invested money on. An oil change can run you $200.00. It takes time but you can do it yourself for the cost of an oil filter and oil. I did one oil change myself under Jack's supervision. He is just a great guy willing to teach and support you on every level. Thank You Jack.
